I started For Chip’s Sake Mobile Rock Chip Repair because I was tired of seeing good windshields go bad over one tiny rock. With years in the automotive industry, I know how frustrating it is to deal with a crack that spreads faster than a Calgary weather change.

My goal? Make repairs easy, affordable, and maybe even make you laugh while I’m at it.

The duration of a windshield repair can vary depending on the extent of the damage, but our technicians work efficiently to complete the repair in a timely manner. A typical crack or chip may take between 15 to 30 minutes.

Do you offer a warranty on your repair services?

We offer a life time warranty on all our repair services to provide our customers with peace of mind. If the repaired chip does spread under normal driving conditions (not by new rock hit, collision, vandalism or other outside damage), we will either perform one additional repair at no charge or issue a credit equal to the original repair cost toward a full windshield replacement by a licensed glass service of your choice.

Is mobile service available in all areas of Calgary?

We offer mobile service to most areas in the SW and NW Calgary for added convenience. Contact us to inquire about service availability in your location.

Can you repair my windshield outside in colder climates?

For optimal results, repairs require ambient temperatures above 15°C, with the resin maintained within 10°C of the glass temperature to ensure proper curing and a durable, clear finish. In colder months, access to a heated garage is essential to create the ideal environment for long lasting repairs, guaranteeing the best possible outcome.
